This itinerary starts from the village of Meduno, the gateway to Val Meduna, where an old road departs, one of the many that once connected the villages of this once bustling, now sparsely populated valley.

The route takes the form of a mountain path, a walk in the silence of the woods, to be appreciated especially in late spring, when the green is so intense that these places resemble a luxuriant forest, or in early autumn, when the trees turn red and gold.

The path climbs slightly and then descends for most of the way, following a stretch of the Chiarzò stream, with very few houses along the way, making it possible to enjoy the free and beneficial power of nature, silence and tranquillity, before reaching the hamlet of Campone.
