Arzino Stream

The Arzino stream rises from Mount Valcalda at 1908 meters above sea level and flows through the municipalities of Vito d’Asio, Forgaria nel Friuli and Pinzano al Tagliamento, at which it flows into the Tagliamento River. During its approximately 30-km course, it longitudinally crosses the Arzino Valley, to which it gave its name. The morphology of the terrain that the Arzino encounters on its way has caused ravines and steep cliffs, where the Arzino Falls come to life. It is a highly coveted and popular place for practitioners of fishing, rafting, canoeing and canyoning. The Arzino stream is also a destination for thousands of tourists every year, who reach its banks to enjoy a rejuvenating swim, a day away from the sultry cities and enjoy the naturalness of its beaches, rocks and ravines.
